FAME India Eco Drive, aimed at promoting conservation of energy and environmental benefits under the ambitious national scheme on the “Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electronic Vehicles” (FAME) India was flagged off from the Rock Garden by UT Adviser Vijay Kumar Dev today.
On the occasion, Ambuj Sharma, Additional Secretary, Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises (HI&PE), Government of India, and UT IGP RP Upadhyay were also present. The rally in which Lohia Auto Industries also participated culminated at the ISB, Mohali. The drive included around 40 hybrid and electric vehicles.
