Chandigarh, August 25
MCM, Sector 36 Environment Committee in collaboration with NSS and NCC groups organised a tree plantation drive in which more than 450 saplings of medicinal herbs were planted in the Rishi Vatika of the college. Santosh Kumar, Chief Conservator of Forest (IFS), was the Chief Guest at the occasion. Bikram Rana State liaison Officer NSS was the guest of honour at the event. The event was applauded by the likes of Saurabh Kumar, Deputy Chief Conservator of Forests (IFS) as the presiding officer, Vaidya Madan Gulati, Ex deputy director Ayurveda Department of AYUSH, UT, and Gurdeep Singh Bhatti, assistant programme advisor of NSS.
